Facebook violations

I have cancelled my account with facebook several years ago and was assured that my details have been deleted from facebook. However, I keep receiving notification e-mails from facebook users. Complaining to facebook is hopeless, they are not accessible, neither are they helpful. I wish to take part in a collective action against facebook for the violation of Data Ptotection Act.

ONE TO WATCH CHEAP PRICES FOR MOST THINGS APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Absolute nightmare of a company very rude and zero customer service we had ran into two series problems trying to recover our full refund back of £693 as this company agreed to do so once both TV’s that were cosmetically marked returned to them as we were not offered anything else. Following there instructions both TV’S were returned and expecting a full refund as this was in a written email to us also we were told verbally that a full refund would be granted. As expected they denied that both TV’S were marked despite having photographic evidence they were only refunding minus £60 for the return of both sets. I had to seek legal advice and contacted trading standards and in the end I had to settle for £60 less than the full refund that was promised to us once both TV’S were in there possession.I also received emails from this company trying to blackmail us in not to write reviews as they intended to take a further £120 minus the full refund. Sony would not grant the warranty as they were adamant they do not sell under any circumstances to any retailer either what they described b graded or used refurbished products. I would seriously urge people to think twice when purchasing online electronics from this company if something goes wrong as there is no reasoning with them you will regret it. I would recommend that you shop around as the cheapest products when shopping online is not always the best way to go as we found that out for sure.
From my own experience I found Amazon very helpful good choice of products and most important friendly and helpful customer service since then we have bought a TV from them and came in pristine condition as it should!!!

Use at your own Perl I have never experienced such a nightmare of any online purchase ever.
PS Customer service is not something you buy but expect when spending any amounts into any online retailer!!!

winter in venis caused skin irritations warning

Winter in venice www.Winterinvenice.com product caused skin irritations warning

I purchased the “luxury lemon sherbert body box” by winter in venice for my mother for mothers day. Having been a little disappointed at the quality of the packaging I topped up the gift with another gift for my mother. Today I find out that the lemon lotion has caused a major skin irritation where the doctor has told her to stop using it immediately. I have contacted the store it was purchased from to obtain a refund and also warn them that this may also affected others.

PrepLogic charges $2400.00

About two months ago I was looking for practice exams for CCENT (Cisco ICND1), I visited PrepLogic’s website, where I started to chat with one of their sales representative. I explained her precisely what I was looking for and she advised me to get their CCNA package as it’s broken into two parts – ICND1 and ICND2, so I can use the first part for my current study. She convinced me to purchase it as it was – according to her – the best choice for me. She also advised me to go for their current promotion which gives two year access to their libraries for a monthly charge of $99.00 and ensured me that if I don’t need it I can just simply cancel that at any time. I gave her my credit card details and purchased the product. It turned out that the materials I downloaded didn’t match the description, and I wasn’t able to use it for my studies. A month later I found out that they charged me another $191.00. I tried to get answers from PrepLogic and I found out that I am in the program that can’t be cancelled now and the total cost is $2400.00. I was shocked, as first of all I have been charged already $290.00 for something that appeared to be completely different than I was promised to find, and second of all I have to pay for something that was not introduced to me and simply I will not use.
I have been trying to speak to PrepLogic for the last ten days, to cancel my account and get refund for something that does not match the description, but all I hear is that they ‘have 12 years of experience in helping IT professionals’ and their advise on how should I manage my money to pay them whole amount.
I have got a copy of the chat I had with their sales representative and it states something completely different than I find now. So does it mean that their representative can say/ promise anything to sell the product? And as far I know you cannot oblige someone with the contract by default, isn’t this against the law?
If I only googled them before the purchase, I could find out about their ‘sales methods’ and way they treat their customers, as there are many other people having similar problems with them. I was simply misled by them and now PrepLogic doesn’t want to help me at all in this situation. Oh, no sorry – they offered me $200.00 discount.
I would never recommend them to anyone.
