Alison McElroy Plumbing Agent

This agent is not registered with the REC and is not a private limited company either. She doubles as a plumber. She does not have a website and has been elusive. She sent me on 2 interviews without meeting me throughout the whole process. She was not able to give information about the employer nor where in London they were based. When I got the job offer she was pressing me to take it immediately before I had the chance to hear back from other employers. When I went in for the job the employer offered no contract but only a letter of offer of employment which did not include basic details such as working hours and lunch breaks. My surname was misspelled on the letter. The agent had sent the employer misspelled details of me.The girl who had been working there for a year and trained me said that she has never been told anything about a lunch break and is expected to take calls at reception while she is eating. When I refused to go back in Alison McElroy complained at the Jobcentre because she said I had to stop claiming benefits.Jobcentre staff said that she was rude to them when they tried to find out what she wanted.Alison McElroy has serious difficulty with spelling and knows not what the word professional means. She has some kind of a problem with and lack of understanding of the social state, her notions border on the racist and Workforce Placements allow her to express these views through their system. They are now refusing to delete my details from their database. Please see below the e-mail she sent me from the company computer. The insults she is referring to are my comments to her client that she is unprofessional and of below average intelligence. Jobcentre LMRA said they could not do anything about her but referred me to an internet complaints board.

Fantastic! Get a job, stop ponsing from the state and get your facts right! We were Jobstore and have now changed hour name and also run a plumbing company from the same address hence the registration in the phonebook. Your insults mean nothing to me I am a very successful Recruitment Consultant with an attractive salary. You are bone idle and have no desire to work and you are only negative towards me because you risk losing your free money from OUR state. Do not waste my time with you empty gibberish and like I said get a job and get a life. I already have.

She then e-mailed me again in the same spirit without getting any reply from me in the meantime.

Prior to my previous posting: I now have an answer from the Jobcentre regarding Alison McElroy’s claims. RECRUITMENT AGENT ALISON MCELROY IS A LIAR AND A BLACKMAILER and a bad one too. SHE IS ALSO RACIST. Please do not apply to either ALISON MCELROY or her company WORKFORCE PLACEMENTS as they trade unethically.

When I said I would not take up the job offer she had for me she sent me an e-mail saying that she was in partnership with the Jobcentre to share information about applicants and that they had confirmed I am claiming benefits and that they were going to investigate me. Please read original e-mail below:

    Dear Yvetta

Just to inform you that here at Workforce Placements, we have an agreement with the Job Centre Plus to pass on information about candidates applying for vacancies. As you have turned down a job for no good reason, I have passed this information onto the LMRA department of the Finchley and Barnet Job Centre who confirm that you are currently claiming benefits and this could result in your benefits being ceased as you have broken the job seekers agreement to actively seek employment and to take job offers.
I have also passed on the emails and application form from yourself as proof that there was a job offer in place and proof of your reasons for not starting on the agreed date.
Please be warned that you will probably hear from them very soon.

After asking the Jobcentre to investigate I can now confirm that this was a concocted story of Alison who probably felt that she had to get back to me for being unable to claim her commission and had enough free time on her hands and whilst at work with Workforce Placements to trouble herself with this. She actually admitted to Jobcentre staff when they telephoned her, as part of this investigation, that she had assumed I had been on benefits because I mentioned to her that I had an appointment at the Jobcentre. She then researched my local Jobcentre based on the information on my CV and sent her story to the LMRA. Therefore the entire story in her blackmailing e-mail is a lie and is based on assumptions. Workforce Placements were not in a partnership with the Jobcentre, as was clear from the job advert, and they could not have confirmed that anyone claims anything because that would be a breach of personal data protection. And of course Alison McElroy had made the wrong assumption because when I said I had an appointment at the Jobcentre I was only being quick and inaccurate and not all appointments at the Jobcentre are to sign on, and not all people that sign on actually do receive money. And even if they did, that is money they are entitled to legally and anyone who has a problem with that needs to have a go at policy makers rather than try and intimidate the people that receive the money. And I am sure that most people on benefits are British, although the law does not discriminate according to nationality and benefits are paid to people who have been contributing. And contributions are not according to nationality either. All beyond Alison McElroy’s mental capacity. Alison McElroy and Workforce Placements will lie, blackmail and try to intimidate you into a job so that they can get their commission. It does not look like they can afford to leave people alone and it does not look like they are any busy at all. In all this time I have not had an apology by Alison McElroy nor Workforce Placements. This is why I would say that they are of the same quality.
