log cabins
I am not one to get upset, but I hate giving people money over the phone, and then when I do and I am promised quality customer service, a quality cabin, and all I get is a package of mouldy Sticks from Romania, and a driver that is rude and the windows and doors are broken, plus there is not enough timber to finish the building, I then call them and they never answer the phone, I call the citizen advice bureau and they tell me they have heard of this company, it makes me very nervous. And when I do get someone on the phone their English is appalling. I would not have bought this cabin if I knew it was coming from Romania or from Romanians. Is Cedexx Log Cabins a scam??
Please can anyone comment?

I paid for one in Nov 2009 and still waiting. Very poor communications from the owner and all his premises are now shut up all sites in the UK.

I too paid £3000 to Cedexx in October for a cabin. Was told in December the company had financial problems but I would get my cabin, then that it was stuck in snow in Romania. Still haven’t received it and can get no response from the company. Please can anyone help?!!

I Paid a deposit of £1250 at their Showrooms in early Nov for Delivery on 15th Dec, Still waiting was told by email that the weather had caused problems, they where due in the Country on 29th Jan, but I have been on Holiday for 2 weeks, only got back today 7th Feb, I have a number of emails from mid Jan onwards, please let me know if you hear anything, I will do the same.

Have you sent emails to md@cedexx.co.uk – Catalin Chirila – This is the only contact person who has bothered, but again I think it is the MD of the company.
Paul- when was your cabin delivered, I spoke with several customers who bought off Ebay, before I put deposit down they all said excellent good value product!

Hi – Further News on Cabins! I had a call this morning 8th Feb from transport people – stating they had Two trailers of Cabins they were working there way through (English agents)The company are having great difficulties getting to the Factory which is snowed in, In the middle of Romania and have a large backlog.
I suppose some news is better than none!

Hi Received ny Cabin today – Not to spec I ordered but atleast a Cabin of same size arrived, Everything looks fine, but won’t know until I fit togther.
The Company as gone bust! but Haulage company are supplying customers who have paid deposits and retreiving their transport costs from Balances owed.
